2020 Topps Star Wars Chrome Perspectives looks at things from a couple of different angles. All have the shine that comes with all things chromium.







As with other Topps Chrome sets, Refractors are one of the key chase elements. As for autographs, they’re one per box in the hobby-exclusive product.

2020 Topps Star Wars Chrome Perspectives Base Set Basics


A 100-card checklist makes up the main part of the release. However, only 50 characters are included.Similar to 2014’s Chrome Perspectives set, each card has two different versions. One is told from the point of view of the Resistance, the other by the First Order. Essentially, the heroes and villains are flipped depending on whose side is telling the story.








Refractors are one per pack, adding a rainbow shine in the background. Besides the basic versions, there are Prism Refractors (/299), Blue Refractors (/150), X-fractors (/99), Gold Refractors (/50), Orange Refractors (/25), Red Refractors (/5) and Superfractors (1/1).


In other Topps Chrome sets, particularly in sports, collectors sometimes chase rainbows of their favorites, trying to get all of the various colors and Refractor versions.

Autographs and Inserts


Resistance Autographs and First Order Autographs have similar designs with slightly different backgrounds, depending on which side of power they stand on. Like base cards, there are several parallels to chase in addition to the main version: Blue Refractors (/150), X-fractors (/99), Gold Refractors (/50), Orange Refractors (/25), Red Refractors (/5) and Superfractors (1/1).









Dual Autographs come with a pair of signatures. Getting into the puns are Duel Dual Autographs, which have both a member of the Resistance and First Order.









Triple Autographs are also available.








The only parallels for multi-signature cards are one-of-one Superfractors.


Sketch cards, which come with original art, are two per case (about 1:6 hobby boxes).


2020 Chrome Perspectives has three additional insert sets. Choose Your Allegiance: First Order and Choose Your Allegiance: Resistance each spotlight the ships, weapons and aims of their respective side. Empire in Conflict casts light on the many conflicts found within the new trilogy.
